Serena,
Thanks for reading stopping by and checking out my blog. If you go to the candidates websites you quickly see that Ron Paul is the only one who promises real change with specific actions, rather than broad generalizations. if you watch the body language and tone of other candidates in videos when he is speaking its as if they are laughing at him. how sad is that.

I say, whether they put his name on the ballot or not I'm voting for him.

"As we all know just because you see it on TV doesn’t mean it is true." So true.

I gave this a thumbs up on StumbleUpon and I hope a lot of people make it this way to read your post.

Blindly supporting a candidate based on what one hears in the media just makes absolutely no sense to me. Research the candidate and check his/her voting record.

The Sunday Post no.1

This Sunday’s post is about the Digital Television transition and cable only sports broadcasting.

In February 2009, the FCC and Congress have instituted a mandate for all television stations to switch over from an analog signal to a digital one. While I don’t have anything against digital television(DTV) I do have a problem with government forcing people to either buy a converter box or lose my television signal. To me this is just another way in which the government is asserting its control. What is next? Will they institute other legislation to control how we obtain information, who knows?
I for one will not be purchasing the DTV converter box. I will be going TV free in 2009 and encourage others to do the same.

Another thing regarding TV, It used to be if you wanted to watch a major sporting event, you could find one of the broadcast stations carrying the game. Well, now if you want to support your local sports team mainly baseball, hockey, and basketball. You have to get cable or satellite TV or listen to them on the radio. Even if you do choose to get cable or satellite you may also have to subscribe to an extended package to enjoy these sports. I think this is a result of greed from the NBA, NHL, and the MLB. I understand that sports are a business and I feel that by restricting the TV broadcast to these providers they alienate their fans. I don’t think that most of the sports fans have cable or satellite and therefore I don’t think they will be watching the games.

That’s just my opinion, that’s The Sunday Post.

Gatorade G2

I’ve been drinking Gatorade for the past few weeks to cut down on my caffeine intake and had become kind of bored with the varieties. However when they launched this new G2 product line arrived in my local store I chose to give it a try. Let me tell you I believe it tastes a lot better than the other flavors they have. In particular I thoroughly enjoyed the Orange variety of this product.
